Footpath dips, 3.5 " at lowest point

Reported via mobile in the Other Highways issue category anonymously at 11:54, Mon 5 August 2024

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14152500.

This issue was highlighted when my drive was replaced and made level. Have already raised in February 2024, when the work was completed. SCC said its a Severn Trent issue, but the issue is the footpath abd therefore a highways department concern. This has been confirmed by ST. Because of the different level between footpath and drive, accessing my drive is causing damage to the edging stone, which was new in February as part of a costly property improvement. In March someone obviously visited as the area of the path was marked for lifting with yellow paint. Still no action

  • Customer called yet again about this. The issue was first reported on 28 Feb. The SC note from 15 March says it is ST's responsibility, however, they have told her it is nothing to do with them and to contact SC. Can someone get back to the customer ASAP and advise what is happening.
