Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14152443.
Dumped on southbound side by crash barrier. Associated takeaway rubbish cleared by volunteer, please remove this large item.

Reported to National Highways as maybe this week it is their job. Naturally the council could have done that instead of CLOSING AN OPEN PROBLEM...

Further action IS required. somebody needs to shift it...Highways England said they will.
Fixmystreet thinks litter/flytip clearance on the A483 is the responsibility of Shropshire council - and you did it last week for a layby full of rubbish from the drive throughs. Hence the report to you.

The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.
Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.
In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.

The item was still there Sunday 29th September. I can't collect it as a volunteer. Further action is required, Shropshire council is responsible for collecting fly tipped items. Report will be reopened so please, just do your job.
