Street light not working

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14152432.

Street light near Castle Hotel at junction of Market Square / Salop Street has been not working properly since last year. It is frequently not working at all now. Coupled with the nearby lights that have been reported as not working in Bull Street nearby this is not URGENT as the whole junction is in darkness at night

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
