Large hole in road

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14152385.

Caller reported a large hole in the road - he thinks it might be subsidence and is concerned that this could lead to a serious accident.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
