Street light 8 burning all night

Sent to Shropshire Council 2 hours, 5 minutes later. Council ref: 14152004.

Street light 8 outside of 16 Chelwood Drive, Herongate, Shrewsbury is still on all night. This has been reported several times this year. but has not been fixed. This is causing issues with the light being too bright in the bedroom at 16 Chelwood Drive. Anti social behaviour issues and also a cost implication to the council. This is the only street light illuminated in the estate all night and causes people to gather outside there as it’s light.

  • Customer received an email this morning about this issue which he raised yesterday. He said that he is very unhappy with the responses he has had regarding this issue about the light being on all night as it has not been fixed and the light is keeping him up all night. He asked for someone to contact him to explain why it has been closed off as completed when it hasn't been fixed and if the light can be sorted out or he will take this further.
