Dogs loose on park

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14151835.

There is a sign on Wheatfield park saying 'Dogs must be on a lead' For a children's park there are numerous dogs off the lead running round whilst there are children trying to play and enjoy the park. The amount of dogs off the lead seems to be increasing,

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
