Dangerous condition of road.

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14151752.

The surface of the road is in dangerous state due to the steepness of the lane. Our car now regularly spins trying to get up the hill and this must also be a problem for the bin lorry. We have lived here since 2016 and there has never been any maintenance on this road that is used by the two homes, local access and by people walking. It is dangerous for them too as the surface has broken up and a sure foothold is no longer possible. This has been deteriorating for years. Thank you.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
