Footpath Cleaning
Reported via desktop in the New bin request category anonymously at 15:39, Thu 18 July 2024
Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14151332.
The footpath between BELVIDERE BRIDGE (SY2 5LY) and 43 Portland Crescent (SY2 5NJ) has been strewn with green glass for the past three weeks, plus. A short term solution would be for an operative to sweep it up. The longer term solution would be to install a general bin for the collection of bottles and cans. Please avoid the error from the previous street cleaning exercise, when the mechanical cleaner became stuck, as it could not get past the fence to prevent children running in the road. THE GLASS IS ON THE SIDES OF THE PATH. BROKEN GLASS is SO URGENT it has to reported on the telephone, which I have done today at 15:30.
