Give Way markings have gone

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14151078.

Due to multiple potholes and poor surface dressing, the give way markings and almost non existent. Previously someone did come out and repaint the markings but this was a waste of time as the potholes needed fixing first.

  • No update since July 2024. Road marking are still missing, broken surface has broken down, and is currently covered in leaves, so the Give Way markings are completely invisible to road users.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
