Motorists ignoring diversion

Reported via mobile in the Other Highways issue category anonymously at 10:44, Thu 11 July 2024

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14150756.

Owing to the lengthy closure near Tern Hill - Bletchley- sandford, traffic is ignoring diversion and using Lostford Lane to Darliston as a main route. Could we have bollards/railings and road closed signs at each end of the route to deter the crazy amount of traffic travelling fast please. We have cows using the road daily to cross to pasture aswell as typical heavy farm machinery and it is very worrying. They are already ignoring the no access sign at darliston as it’s not on the junction, just by it and is making no difference. Thank you
