Full of deadly potholes.

Reported via desktop in the Carriageway pothole category anonymously at 04:57, Monday 8 July 2024

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14150453.

There are so many potholes in the road that it is utterly damaging to cars. It's completely impossible to avoid them as they are spread from one side of the road to the other and cover a stretch of a few dozen metres from start to finish.

When it rains, it is dangerous for pedestrians and particularly deadly to children making their way along the road to/from school as some of the holes are so big that the water comes over the tops of their shoes. It is equally dangerous to cyclists who have to chance taking aim through the puddles and pray they don't fall off their bikes. The council have been informed but simply patch a few holes leaving the remaining 90% untouched. In just days, the filled pot holes are open and bigger than ever.

Adding insult to injury, the remaining two routes out of the valley are also filled with potholes which become bigger by day. It is completely impossible to enter or leave the valley without enduring both discomfort and damage to our vehicles.

This is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Particularly when it was reported and acknowledged in 2023 and we're now midway through 2024 with no real improvement.
