Overgrown verges

The verges are so overgrown that they are causing issues with visibility for vehicles emerging onto the road. It's also very dangerous for walkers as they can't be clearly seen and have no verge to stand on when traffic passes. Traffic on this road is very fast, particularly coming downhill. Please can the verges be cut?
