Numerous HUGE potholes

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14148826.

Ongoing problem for 8 plus years! WHY Shropshire Council when we pay our council tax can you not maintain our road leading to 3 properties! this road is ALSO used alot by members of the public visiting Eastridge woods. Money has been wasted using small bags of tarmac please resurface this ASAP!!!!

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.

  • Customer called for a update of when action is scheduled, this road it not fit for traveling on now, emergency services can not get up this road due to the size of the pot holes, neighbours of the customer can not sell there house as viewers can not get up this road without damaging there car tyres. Customer has had to replace serval of her own car tyres due to the damaged caused by the potholes. this has been a ongoing issue for years and this road needs to be resurfaced ASAP.
