Overgrown hedge pavement not usable ellesmere road greenfields

Reported via mobile in the Overgrown Trees/Hedges category anonymously at 11:51, Wednesday 12 June 2024

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14148670.

I would like to request that the hedge covering the pavement along Ellesmere road on the side of the road opposite Greenfields primary school, Shrewsbury is trimmed. I live on Lime Tree Meadows and currently cannot use the pavement on this side of the road as the hedge is overgrown. If this is the responsibility of the landowner please contact them to request the hedge is trimmed. Thanks

  • 13 days on this issue has not been resolved. Please can this issue be resolved imminently, currently the pavement is blocked significantly by the overhanging hedge and plants. This makes using the pavement challenging and dangerous. Consequently in places residents need to walk in the highway.

Can the council not take action to clear the path?
