No road markings

Reported via mobile in the Markings missing/defective category anonymously at 19:55, Monday 3 June 2024

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14147963.

Since the road was re-surfaced the lines have not been re-painted. This has resulted in many more cars parking on street making it particularly difficult to pass safely on the road into oncoming traffic. These cars are also partially parked on the pavement. Please reinstate the parking zones/lines or review this. Thank you.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
