Extreme light pollution/blinding.

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14147428.

Following recent replacement with LED lighting this street light is now about 2m higher than the old and due to the fact that my house is at a lower elevation than the lamp post I am being blinded by it. As I am the only location on this (West) side of the street could a shielding plate not be fitted please? Can see nothing as I open my door except this blinding light which is rather dangerous as I step down into the yard.
