It is currently not possible to keep all four wheels of an ordinary car on intact road surface. Only the middle third of the road surface has intact areas. The remainder is not now 'road' as such. If the repair is intended only within the lines it will not suffice and needs to be reconsidered.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
