Street lamp stays on all night

Sent to Shropshire Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 14144776.

We had new LED lighting installed on the street and was told it would cycle and turn itself off after midnight. The light stays on all night and despite having black out curtains it is lighting the bedroom up. I have complained previously and was told it would sort itself after 6 months working as their smart lights. This does not happen and the light stays on all through the night.

Can you fit a guard/shade to prevent glare into the bedroom?
