Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14144563.

Potholes are becoming larger and cars driving in the middle of the road, about 7 pot holes in a row and further more potholes before, in and after Brockton. A near miss today again, a car was swerving to miss pot holes and nearly into my car! I have complained three times now but to no avail have you resolved or marked these abhorrent holes. These pot holes will take out someone’s tyres or more serious damage. You will be liable. Potholes have been a problem for two months or more…

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
