Street light outside 25 Ludlow Heights not working

It is dark and the light is not working,the lamp is the old type which may have an internal igniter or might not ,the photocell might have failed ,a simple trick is to put a heavy duty gloves over the photocell to see if it strikes .personally I prefer the colour rendering of the sodium lamps ,this type seems to be so energy efficient that it uses no electricity at all .
