Pedestrian crossing not working

Reported via mobile in the Total failure category anonymously at 17:54, Thursday 11 April 2024

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14143878.

The traffic lights at the top of Gravel Hill/Upper Galdeford/Station Drive junction are not working for pedestrians to cross the road. (In particular the lights on the Upper Galeford side of the road.) If you press the button, this does not stop the traffic to allow for you to cross safely. This has been an issue for a few days now and needs to be looked into as soon as possible, as this is used by school children daily.

  • Customer called to say that whatever the workers have done has not fixed the issue. The red lights are on all three at the pedestrian crossing. It is making crossing the road a nightmare and very dangerous.
