Large Potholes

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14143828.

There are several large potholes on the bend forcing vehicles to use the wrong side of the road to pass - this is a hazard due to oncoming traffic

  • Whilst we are aware of the plans for resurfacing in 24/25 these need to be addressed now as the road is becoming unusable / unsafe

    I have seen that several holes have been marked - these have been missed tho and are the ones that prompted the original ticket …..

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
