Approx 14” hole positioned 20 yards from crossroads on Rantipol Lane. Approximately 4-5 inches deep

This pothole is large and deep and situated as you head towards Plealey on the near side. Close to the junction on a Baer narrow piece of road. In fact there are several potholes along this road, which need repairing. If a motorcyclist hit them it could cause very serious personal injury.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
