The lane has become progressively worse over the last two years. The lane is seriously dangerous for cyclists who use this lane as I do as a safe route. The state of the road will result in serious injury or worse if nothing is done very quickly. The damage to vehicles that use this stretch of lane is also highly likely as avoidance is nearly impossible.

Some filling has taken place but many of the pot holes remain. The road surface condition in many areas is still poor and potentially hazardous for cyclists. The repairs that have taken place do not provide a longer term solution.
