Very large, 8 inch deep pothole, on the left hand side 100m after the letter box towards Ackleton/Kingslow crossroads

After a rainy night, on the morning of 27th March 2024, the pothole in question was covered by a large puddle. Whilst travelling, I attempted to avoid it and an oncoming car, but went through the outskirts of the puddle - unaware that the pothole was beneath. In doing so, it damaged my front left tyre and buckled the alloy. The following day, I revisited the site to take photos and three other vehicles had pulled over nearby, with the same problem. I will be submitting a claim for the damage caused.
