Insufficient Drainage
Reported via desktop in the Drain blocked category anonymously at 10:22, Thu 28 March 2024
Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14142382.
Whenever there is rain the road has water running down it for several days. The drains are working but appear to be in the wrong places and there are not enough of them. It appears to be causing a subsidence issue to the customer's building.

The minimum required is a new drain in position of red arrow. Current drain (blue arrow) does not collect water as it is positioned higher than running water. The water starts running down the road 250m uphill (entering and exiting road side ditches) without being collected, additional drains here would help reduce the problem. The running water then continues a further 100m down the road before draining onto a farm track, in the process running past an old (listed) building contributing to its subsidence
