40 cm square pothole, 8cm deep

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14142261.

This pothole sadly appears to be in a place where the road was repaired on the side of the carriage way going into Shipton slightly before the town name sign. It appears to be taking out most of that repair. It is out far enough in the carriage way that it can't be missed if anyone is coming the other way

  • I placed the pothole incorrectly, it should be on the B4378 between the 40 speed sign and the town name sign. It is growing deeper, it is now 7 to 8 cm deep

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
