Action scheduled
Road surface has become raised and water is flowing from beneath it
Reported via mobile in the Drain blocked category anonymously at 18:37, Sat 24 February 2024
Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14138864.
90% of drains are blocked in the village causing water to be constantly flowing on the road surface so when it freezes it become deadly to either walk or drive through the village. there is water coming up from beneath the road surface so could be a collapsed drain or burst pipe out side the whithouse

It's been over a month since i reported the blocked drains and pot holes there seems to be no action to repair or even survey the area please could you give me an update as the road is starting to break up throughout the village due to constant running water over the surface

So you have repaired the hole in the road but you haven't fixed the reason why the hole was there in the first place there is still water coming up from beneath the ground and running through the village i guarantee within a few weeks you will be back out digging up the road to repair the collapsed land drain

So it's been less than a year since you came out and filled in the pothole but like i said in previous correspondence it will open back up again unless you repair the leak/collapsed land drain that causes the constant flow of water from this area it is now having a negative effect on the rest of the road through the village as this is starting to show signs of breaking up and damage to the surface and residents drives are constantly wet causing similar damage i look forward to your speedy response
