Mud all over road

There is mud at least 5 inches deep all across the lane and this is a major driving hazard. The verge drains have not been dug and are full of mud so when there is flooding there is nowhere for the water to go. This is a major safety issue, mainly for cars driving this lane.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
