Flood due to mud from road workers blocking drains ,i

Iam an independent, classic car restorer who has customers spending tens of thousands of pounds having cars restored and are complaining at there show cars having to drive through muddy water to access or leave my premises, due to workmen creating muddy deposits in the roads ! It is costing me time cleaning and re-cleaning cars covered in mud ,and is affecting my business!

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
