Dog bin request

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14138755.

Please can you put a dog bin here so that dog walkers can clean up after their dogs. The walk from Maxfield drive to Sutton road over the A5 by pass and the the walk around the field is covered in dog mess.

  • Customer called to ask where the dog waste bin is that you have said we have installed. Customer said that he has seen the sign that is painted on the floor but can't find the bin. Bin is needed at the A5 bypass heading towards the quarry - that is where the dog walkers pick up the walk from. Please contact customer with the requested info.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
