Road closed sign but road not closed

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14138645.

There is a sign at the roundabout on the A442 saying road access to Alveley is not possible. Diversion is up the A458. Diversion signs very few and far between. After finally lucking out with a back road route from A458 to A442 I reached Alveley and then Kidderminster. After speaking to local friends they told me there were no access problems. I drove back from Kidderminster to Bridgnorth with no access issues but saw many signs saying no access. Imagine how many people have done long unnecessary diversions because of this. Pure incompetence.
