Urgent Signage required
Reported via desktop in the Pothole in a road category anonymously at 15:33, Fri 16 February 2024
Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14137609.
It would appear that water is running from Letton Hall down the roadside to a drain which is full of mud. Consequently the road surface has been badly eroded and even with sandbags in it there is a tyre cracking drop. Almost opposite on the other side of the road is another large pothole caused by the same drainage issue as the flow crosses the road. Between the blocked drain and two potholes the road surface has now got the makings of a trench which has already damaged a number of residents cars. This is the main road to Norton School and on Monday it will be very busy with school traffic. As a matter of urgency can clear signage be erected whilst awaiting repairs and drain suction.
