Ditch and drain blocked

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14136398.

The ditch on the South side of the road always blocks every winter. This is because of the large amount of water and debris washing down the steep lane above. The water is meant to run via a drain under the road but this drain is also blocked on the North side so water then spills down the lane, damaging the road surface and blocking drains further down. If the North side drain is connected properly to the main drain down the road, this perennial problem will be solved.
