Works van parked on footpath

Caller reported some works vans have turned up on Corndon Crescent to carry out works to a damaged footpath, but have parked on the footpath opposite, which she said defeats the purpose of them being there and asked if the van could be asked to move off the footpath and park on the road if possible.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
