Light still out

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14134265.

Customer reported the streetlight has been out for a while now and needs to be repaired as the area is left in darkness without it. It does show on the mapping system as having a target repair date of 16/01/24, which has now passed.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.

  • Customer calling to chase up on what is happening as he reported the light out back in January and still nothing has been done. The area is very dark due to the only other lights being at each end of the street.

  • Customer called yet again about this streetlight. He first reported it at the start of the year and it is still out. Can someone tell him when it will be fixed?
