A whole series of sizeable potholes near Red Furlongs Farm

Reported via desktop in the Pothole in a road category anonymously at 11:20, Thu 11 January 2024

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14133201.

These potholes have been here for at least 3 years. They have had tarmac occasionally thrown at a chosen few, which lasts approximately 2 months before it breaks up. The potholes are now considerably worse and there are so many that it is impossible to drive around them. The road drainage is poor and the verges are so dense with mud that only a tractor could drive through them. Due to the natural lay of the land, visiting drivers and cyclists won’t see the holes until the last minute if coming from Scirmidge lane direction so this is also a dangerous situation.
