Surface problem - causing a fall

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14132876.

Yesterday I fell over on the pavement outside W H Smiths, king Street. There is a loose pavement brick and this caused me to loose balance and sadly fall down. I was at work - I went out to collect food for the shop, due to this fall I was unable to carry on working and went home sick. I am very badly bruised today as a result. I am awaiting a hip operation and this has increased the discomfort I was already in. I would be very grateful if someone could contact me regarding this issue. This needs attention as soon as possible so that no one else has an injury. I understand that work was carried out on the pavement last week. If this is correct, they haven’t be replaced the bricks properly.
