Drain completely blocked at the top of Union Street

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14129972.

It is on the right hand side just before the road joins Welsh Street. Water floods down the road and it has been like this for a year

  • It is on the right hand side just before the road joins Welsh Street. Water floods down the road and it has been like this for a year Location Drain completely blocked at the top of Union Street SY9 5DF reported previously and asked for updates twice regarding this enquiry to Highways Depot in this area. Please assess.

  • Dear All Major problems continue with blocked drain ref 14129972 in bishops castle. No progress since reported November and damp found in house now . We hope something happens soon . Susan wood

  • Customer called to chase up on the problem with the blocked drain as has heard nothing since originally reported in November and the problem is getting worse as the drain is completely blocked. Have had to have someone in to look at damp in the property and this may be due to the water pouring down the road from the blocked drain. Please could someone make contact with the customer to advise what is happening

  • Hello Having reported the problem last year with the blocked drain top of union street there has been no action taken by the council whatsoever. This is very disappointing as the reporting of it went well and I was full of hope for an early solution.
