Deep pothole in the left hand side of the B4379 Newport road heading towards the crackley bank traffic lights driving out of Shifnal

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14128577.

The hole has been there a while but it’s getting worse because this busy road is used by many vehicles.

  • The problem needs to be fixed as soon as possible due to the new medical practice opening shortly so there will be an even more volume of traffic on this road.

  • I’m not sure if this report has gone through about a deep Pothole on the Newport road B4379 driving out of Shifnal towards the Crackley Bank traffic lights so I’m sending it again. Many thanks

  • I am concerned that the two areas of roads previously reported last November in Shifnal are particularly in need of repair due to deep and dangerous potholes which have deepened considerably causing a hazard to drivers. The one is in Newport Road in the driving lane just before the Crackley Bank traffic lights and also on the approach to Haughton Road alongside the new doctors surgery.
