Sideshield request

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14128540.

The new LED bulb in this streetlight is very bright and shines sideways into windows in houses nearby, could a sideshield be put on the north side of this light?

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.

  • Hi, the side shield has been installed on the south side, not the north side as requested, can you swap it over? The properties affected are 4, 3 and 1 Camross Drive. Thanks.
