Your lorry came out to the flood but wasn’t able to resolve the blockage which was in the pipes under Annscroft.

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14128324.

We rodded the pipes to clear the blockage which was an accumulation of road silt. We rodded from the highway drain on the roadside amongst other access points. It is clear that there is an accumulation of road silt at the bottom of the chamber which does need clearing to avoid further blockages. Would the vacuum lorry be able to suck out the road silt before further rain potentially washes the silt back into the pipe and blocks everything up again. Hopefully this is only a quick job now that we have unblocked the pipes being fed from the roadside chamber
