Street Light facing the wrong way

Reported via desktop in the Street Light Damaged category anonymously at 12:34, Tuesday 21 November 2023

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14128196.

Street light has been knocked and the lamp is facing upwards instead of downwards. The alley is all in the dark - gentleman with walking stick fell last night.

  • Coming home tonight the street lamp is not working. The alleyway has no light whatsoever & due to the walk way being narrower than usual due to works being carried out & barriers in situations I felt very uneasy walking to my house

  • In the daylight this morning I realized why the lamp wasn't working last night. It had been removed. When will this issue be resolved as it is extremely unsafe to walk up in the dark with the reduced pathway .

  • How can I possibly receive an email that this has been fixed. The lamp has been taken off so is definitely NOT fixed in the slightest. The whole idea of my contacting you is to correct the angle of the lamp so there was actually some light on the alley. Taking the lamp away is certainly not fixed .
