Drain blocked and constantly flooding roag junction

Reported via Android in the Drain blocked category by Paul Gamston at 20:14, Monday 20 November 2023

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14128149.

This drain has been overflowing for 4 weeks now, even when not raining it's still overflowing. The main road junction is constantly wet and will be an ice sheet in sub zero temperatures and highly dangerous to traffic in all directions. Also flooding my driveway entrance that will prevent me from entering my steep driveway to my home. Needs sorting ASAP.

  • Severn Trent have been out to check on this problem and say it is the Council responsibility because it is a flood elevation issue so can you and Severn Trent sort it out between you before someone gets hurt.

  • The problem of this probable blocked drain has not been repaired despite being reported a number of times. It overflows causing flooding, and with cold and frosty weather on the way, which will cause icy conditions, it should be attended to as a matter of urgency.

  • Why does this report say ‘Fixed’ when water is still running out and is no different to how it was a month ago. Please do something about the issue instead of playing with it.
