Potholes, poor road surface, flooding
Reported via mobile in the Carriageway surface problem category anonymously at 09:57, Sun 19 November 2023
Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14128023.
These problems are ongoing and have been reported in numerous occasions. Do we have to wait for a serious incident before they are taken seriously? When will the cause of the flooding and the damaged road surface be resolved?

Despite your assurance that these problems were rectified the situation is ongoing, ie. the road surface is littered with potholes and the ditch is overflowing and flooding the road.

The potholes and poor road surface has gotten worse over the last couple of months and there has been nothing done to address these issues. Furthermore, the grass verge is now being utilised by motorists in order to avoid the potholes. When are they scheduled for repair and what is being done about the flooding?

Can you provide an update on this please? With the M54 closure next weekend, coupled with the Shifnal 10k the volume of traffic will significantly increase. Having travelled along the lane again yesterday, I can confirm that the conditions are appalling ☹️

Can you provide an update as to when this work is scheduled to take place please? Several areas of Coppice Green Lane were marked up some time ago, some markings which are now hardly visible and yet nothing further has been done to resolve the issues. Due to the length of time which has now passed since my original report further damage has been caused to the road surface. Furthermore, there are no markings visible around the area which is regularly flooded on the bend near to the Stone House.
