Due to the extremely wet Autumn, the footpath opposite No's 1 & 2 Mayfields is covered in moss which is slippery when wet and will be very unsafe when it is frosty. All residents on this development are concerned that the footpath needs to be swept thoroughly by the mechanical footpath sweeper to remove the moss at the earliest opportunity please.

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14127862.

Can the mechanical footpath sweeper be directed to sweep the footpath and also collect the wet, slippery leaves which are on the footpath on Fishmore Road between Stanton Road and Mayfields please?? This is our one and only annual request so we hope it will not be ignored. Thank you.

  • As it is over 2 months since we first made this request back in November, is anyone from the Council going to look at the issue and arrange for the moss to be removed? An update would be appreciated please before someone slips and injures themselves,
