Substantial surface degradation in several places with large potholes
Reported via mobile in the Carriageway surface problem category by Peter Matthews at 08:00, Thu 16 November 2023
Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14127783.
This has been like this for about a month and is getting worse each week. It is difficult to drive through in a normal car. Blocked drains and the resulting water flow are making it worse and also harder to see the damage
Thank you for contacting us. This note is to confirm that we have received your report and we'll be in touch with an update as soon as possible.

The road is getting substantially worse and becoming difficult to drive a normal car over. Damage to tyres, wheels or bodywork is now almost inevitable if the damage is not addressed

Customer phoned back about the issue with the road surface here, which has been getting far worse with all the recent bad weather and is now virtually impassable unless you have a large vehicle to drive along it in. If this isn't dealt with soon, they will have to take a detour, heading most of the way towards Shrewsbury to avoid the worst stretches of the road. They also mentioned that their son's girlfriend has suffered significant damage to her car due to the state of the road.
