Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14126332.
Customer advised that during the last storm SC came out and cleared a blocked culvert under the A5. What three words for the culvert location is move.cabinet.syndicate When this was cleared it sent a tidal wave of water in the direction of the customer's property. Customer wants confirmation that the culvert is still clear. Also wants confirmation that the culvert downstream of the A5 is also clear. One downstream is by Pentrewern Works, SY10 7JZ. The water flowed down the B5069 to Station Road, Gobowen causing flooding to properties.

Sadly 18 months later this has still not been resolved. The watercourse is still full of gravel and needs to be dredged. Then the bank of the watercourse needs repair as it has been breached so many times. The hedges are in urgent need of maintenance as they are now trees that hang over the watercourse and drop branches which block the flow. The depth of gravel under the culvert is such that it reduces the flow. This is causing serious floods. Why has nothing been done?
