Wooden railings rotting
Reported via desktop in the Other Highways issue category by Miranda Stanley at 13:57, Tue 24 October 2023
Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14125792.
Two railings are rotting at their base and they have NOT BEEN REPAIRED and have only had barriers and sandbags placed around them since the beginning of this year. This is the most photographed area of Bishop's Castle. The Museum at The House on Crutches as well as at the exit for weddings from the Town Hall. How long before repairs? Should the TOWN COUNCIL employ local artisan tradespeople to do the work and then bill Highways?
Thank you for contacting us. This note is to confirm that we have received your report and we'll be in touch with an update as soon as possible.
