Water that is running off of the Kingswood Road, Albrighton WV7 3JH (near Whitegate Farm) is running down the drive and causing flooding. Can you please investigate and get the drains cleaned out?

    The water runs down off the A41 onto the fields photo 3 of Whitegate Farm then floods the rear of our driveway , we are using a pump at the moment and praying it doesn't rain 🤞

  • The drains have been cleaned a short while ago, the rain water runs down off the footpath , my husband tries to divert it by making a mound with stone and soil to divert it off the pathway onto the main road, this has been reported a few times when we've had torrential rain

  • Hi Have rung highways tonight as the same problem occurring due to the amount if rain. We have had a water pump running fir 4 hours but it isn't making much difference

  • Hi,you notified me in September to say you were doing required work, unfortunately if you did it hasn't worked, we are flooding again and it's worse this time

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
